About the Play:

This short dark comedy explores middle-aged romance as experienced by a couple, and the uses of a gun on stage. James and Millicent are the quintessential proper British couple, until a revolver brings a quiet chaos to their lives. Does the revolver threaten their marriage… or is it a requirement?

A Gun on the Table will also be produced by Tiger Lily Theatre in Knoxville, Tennessee in May 2012.

About the Playwright:

Margy Ragsdale is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. As a Board member with Theatre Knoxville Downtown, Margy works as actor, director, designer and janitor; she also facilitates a writers’ group for screenwriters and playwrights for the Knoxville Writers’ Guild. Margy is the skip (captain) of her curling team.

Zanne Gerrard has directed for the Mae West Fest, ILU productions, and Driftwood Players, garnering awards in outstanding production and direction for Minnesota Moon featured in the 2009 AACTFest state, regional, and national competitions.  She received her honors degree in Theatre from Wesleyan University.
