About the Play:

10 minute original play about a woman guiding two FBI agents up a mountain in the Appalachians. They want to interview her brother about some “incidents” they are investigating, and they think he is hiding in the woods.  Only seeking the easy money, she herself becomes entangled in the investigation and puts herself at risk.

About the Playwright:

Originally from North Carolina, Machelle moved around with her military family before settling down in Seattle with her husband. She has been acting in the Puget Sound area for over a decade, and recently began playwriting and screenwriting. Part soccer mom, part educator, part artist, Machelle is honored to have a play selected for Double XX Fest.

About the Director:

Rachel is a slasher director/actor with a fancy theatre degree from the University of Southern California. Since her days in the sun she has lived in many places & been a part of making many plays & films. She is a Resident Director at the Bellevue Youth Theatre. New works are her favorite. So are dogs, karaoke & red wine. @racheldelmar
